    Description

The Chilean artists Guillermo and Sergio Núñez studied at UMPRUM in Prague in the late 1950s and early 1960s. From that point on, their careers developed on different continents. While Guillermo Núñez became a renowned figure of South America’s modern art, Sergio Núñez has largely been forgotten. The current exhibit recalls the less famous of the brothers, presenting the posters that form the central focus of his oeuvre along with the paintings and textile prints that were his graduation project at UMPRUM. Supplementing the artistic works is a selection of photographs documenting the dramatic careers of both brothers and accentuating the locations where they met again.
